About Pamela Tessmann

Pamela Tessmann is a Vancouver Island raised alt-folk singer/songwriter with strong musical roots in old time rock and roll, jazz, and pop.

After releasing a solo album, participating on multiple compilation albums, getting married and having a baby, Pamela is finally able to sit down and self produce an EP album in the basement of her home in the beautiful Village of Cumberland, BC.  The album is teeming with R&B grooves and heart melting ballads.
Performing on stage for nearly 13 years, winning songwriter retreat awards, sharing the stage with bands such as Po Girl, Eugene Smith, and 54/40, Pamela has met a couple enthusiastic and talented players who play her music like it's always been a part of them.  Jan Neuspiel -  a Mountain guide by day, bass player by night - has been playing with Pamela for a few months now.  Jim Stepan is a local, highly sought-after percussionist, playing multiple shows around the Comox Valley while trying to balance family life and running two businesses.
